ADVANCED AIR MOBILITY: SHAPING THE FUTURE OF TRANSPORTATION

February 7, 2025

Dr. Rubén Del Rosario will highlight recent progress in the AAM ecosystem, KSU accomplishments and discusses new opportunities for the future.

Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) is the concept of implementing new emerging technology in aviation to move people and cargo between places underserved by aviation and not conveniently served by surface transportation. The College of Aeronautics and Engineering (CAE) hosts the KSU Center for Advanced Air Mobility to foster research, education and collaboration between faculty, staff and students within Kent State and external partners in government, academia, and industry. AAM needs a multidisciplinary community of researchers and practitioners to address one of the most emergent, disruptive technologies for the future of transportation.
